DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY
The department of Botany, Palsama Science Degree College, Palsama was established as an undergraduate department
with pass course in session 2000-2001 and honours course in session 20017-18. The department is recognized for excellence in teaching
in major areas of Plant Science.The Department offers Graduate Course (B. Sc. Honours & Electives ) for three years duration for which
admission is made through SAMS, Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha. There is semester system of examination along with regular
internal evaluation following the CBCS pattern. The department follows the syllabus of the Sambalpur university (state model syllabus)
prescribed by the Higher Education Department, Odisha. The department consists of well equipped laboratories and well stocked seminar library.
